The same Miata I took to Radwood NorCal, my buddy is letting me borrow indefinitely till my GTO is fixed. It sure is quite a hoot to drive.

I enjoy my 128i, but I fear dailying an NB for several months ruined me. By comparison, the 1-series is so heavy and insulated it feels like a Buick.

Even after a weekend of the Miata I was ruined. My GTO felt huge and heavy for a few days after. But the power was much nicer XD

The power is nice for certain contexts, but for most of the driving I do, I feel like the 1-series is bored
(and it only makes 230 hp). It’s a dream on interstate trips though.
